NEFASTUS DIES: 'Urban Cancer' To Receive U.S. Release In June
April 2, 2008Candlelight Records, in cooperation with Siege of Amida Records, has set a June 10 U.S. release date for "Urban Cancer", the debut album from Canadas NEFASTUS DIES. Featuring former ION DISSONANCE vocalist Ill-Fate, the CD was produced by Yannick St-Amand (DESPISED ICON).
Formed in 2002, Montreal-based NEFASTUS DIES completed its lineup by the addition of Ill-Fate in 2005. His presence sparked an intense period of creativity; gigging and writing material that their already growing local fan base found to be a much more extreme approach than their earliest material.
Excited about the upcoming release of "Urban Cancer", the band is already busy scheduling regional performances and hopes to hit the U.S. later this fall on its first stateside tour.
The band recently confirmed the following performances with ANAAL NATHRAKH:
May 17 - The Kathedral - Toronto, ON
May 18 - Gig Theater - Kitchener, ON
May 20 - Caf Dekcuf - Ottawa, ON
May 22 - Plaza Theater - Montreal, QC
